The Language and Literature Bureau through the Library Division further expanded the reading corner initiative which offers informal learning space services. The Opening Ceremony of the Pelita Minda Reading Corner was held at IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus, 23rd June morining.

On hand to officiate the reading corner was Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 500 books of various genres in Malay and English are provided. The reading corner is an effort to strengthen the reading culture among youth and support the intellectual development and critical thinking of the younger generation in line with current needs.
